Answering Christ’s call, the Society of St Vincent de Paul fosters hope by providing spiritual, emotional and material assistance on a person-to-person basis to those living in poverty, the lonely and the forgotten in our communities across the United States. The Society and its members adhere to a Rule and to the highest standards of excellence. We believe we see the face of Christ in those we encounter. It is our belief that we are called to a lay vocation to serve those in need and each other as we grow in holiness and friendship with each other and offer ourselves as servant leaders in our mission of charity and justice.
How You Can Get Involved
Volunteer Program
We joyfully welcome all to participate in our organization. Please consider giving us the gift of your time. Our most critical need is for volunteers to join us as case workers directly serving our neighbors in need. You may only spend a few minutes with the neighbor, but their story may impact you for the rest of your life. This ministry is ideal for couples wanting to make a difference and work together, but you do not have to be a couple to volunteer.
Your Legacy, Your Way Program
Charitable endowments allow organizations a permanent and secure source of income, which safeguards the work of our group. We are grateful for donors that choose these arrangements as part of their estate plan to share gifts which will make a difference in the lives of others for years to come. These gifts, no matter their size, are a devoted response to the blessings the Lord has bestowed.
