Sometimes no matter how hard you try, you can never seem to make ends meet, let alone get ahead in life. It is embarrassing to ask for help and the time it takes to call agencies, fill out paperwork, and in the end to only be rejected. Our SVDP group can provide emergency support for individuals requesting assistance for basic, necessary expenses (i.e. food, utilities, limited rent/mortgage assistance). What We Do
The Vincentian Family
The Society of St Vincent de Paul is one of many organizations, both lay and religious, whose members throughout the world, together inspired by the spirituality of St Vincent de Paul, form a single Vincentian Family.
Home Visits
Our Home Visit is the heart of what we do at Society of St Vincent de Paul St Jude’s Conference. Visiting neighbors in need in their homes respects their dignity and provides a private setting so they can freely discuss their personal challenges.
During Home Visits, our caseworkers conduct an initial assessment, collaborate with individuals and families to create actionable plans for removing barriers to stability and provide critically-needed services such as emergency financial assistance, food, clothing, prescription medication, transportation assistance and more.

With a mission to provide help and hope to neighbors in need, Society of St Vincent de Paul St Jude’s Conference has been serving individuals, families and communities in our parish community since 1987, stabilizing those in crisis and striving to create paths to self-sufficiency.

Our organization is all volunteer and we are passionate about helping our neighbors. As the home visit is at the core of our mission, we go in pairs to the homes of our neighbors, we are always looking for volunteers to share in bringing much needed light into our neighbors life during a time of need.
